n Bhutanese Society (CBS) is happy to announce yet another Cultural Concert this May. Come one and come all, Let us enjoy the evening with Diraj Rai and Sunita Dulal from the heart of Nepal.
Dhiraj Rai is a prominent Nepali pop singer, who is popularly known by his songs “Buddha was born in Nepal and Freedom”. He is also known by popular names like Nepali Michael Jackson, Mysterious boy or a Dancing boy. He brings many other talents including lyricist, writer, dancer and lecturer.
Sunita Dulal is popularly known for her Nepalese folk and festive songs. She has established herself as a prominent Nepali singer in her own and unique style of singing . Sunita Dulal entered into music industry at a young age and has recorded more than 100 Nepali Folk Songs. She has been singing Nepali Folk and Festival to modern songs for last ten years.
We urge you all to join us to support a community event at Southminster United Church in Downtown opposite City Hall. Its on May 10′ 2014 at 5.30pm.
The proceeds from this concert will be used for CBS Community Development program.
