On behalf of the Canadian Bhutanese Society (CBS), I would sincerely like to thank you for the support and Sponsorship you provided for our Summer Games, 5th Western Canada Regional Nepalese Sports & Cultural Event 2014 held on June 28th and 29th, 2014. Thanks to your generous sponsorship and support, we were able to raise awareness and meet among all Nepali speaking people of Western Canada.
This is one of the many ways we try to preserve our culture, this sporting event has not only brought Nepali speaking people from all western provinces together, this also created a media to connect with all levels of Government Offices and other organizations. This has also helped us to work together and show a sense of volunteerism.
Thanks to our CBS youth group’s drive, we were able to attract as many as 250 interested individuals, each of whom participated in the summer games. We have also persuaded other cities and their representatives to approach with newer ways to spread awareness for preserving our cultures, for which we will conduct many more such events and create better opportunities for the participants to enjoy such games.
This event would not have been a success without the generous support you have provided us. We deeply appreciate the willingness with which you have and continue to sponsor our efforts to make our community a healthier, happier organization. We sincerely hope that such events will be maintained and that you will continue to support us in our future endeavors.
